Renitens 2022, Why We Love It and Why You'll Love It Too

Renitens is more than just a wine; it’s a journey through the heart of Italian terroirs. This unique label brings together six producers and six native terroirs from Veneto, Friuli, Trentino, all united under Nicola Biasi’s Resistenti network.

Each grape variety is vinified separately at its respective winery, reflecting the distinct stylistic choices of both the winemaker and the estate. The wines undergo aging based on specific enological decisions tailored to each variety. Once the wines have reached their ideal maturity, Nicola personally selects the blend. He chooses the best combination directly from the wineries to create Renitens.

Renitens stands out not only for its complex aromas and full, creamy body but also for the story it tells. This wine is the result of a collaborative effort, driven by passion and strong ethical values.

Nicola Biasi

Nicola Biasi, born in Cormons in 1981, is a winemaker with international acclaim. His career began with formative experiences in Friuli, Australia, South Africa, and Tuscany, where he led prestigious wineries like San Polo and Poggio al Tesoro. In 2012, he launched his personal project, Vin de la Neu, focusing on cultivating the resilient Johanniter grape at nearly 1,000 meters above sea level. This wine earned numerous accolades, including the Next in Wine 2015 award.

Since 2016, Biasi has been a sought-after consultant. His expertise was recognised in 2021 when he was named Italy’s Best Young Winemaker and Cult Oenologist. In 2022, he established “Resistenti Nicola Biasi,” a network dedicated to producing exceptional wines through sustainable practices.
