Falerno del Massico “Seduzione” DOP 2019 – Fattoria Pagano

£69.00

Made from Primitivo grapes grown on 70-year-old vines, Seduzione presents an intense and elegant ruby red colour. On the nose, it offers a broad and layered bouquet with ripe plums, cherry jam, and black cherries. Hints of sweet spice and balsamic notes add further complexity.
On the palate, it is full-bodied, smooth, and velvety, with rich noble tannins. The structure is solid, yet the wine flows with elegance and grace. Aged to perfection, it delivers a long and satisfying finish with notes of cocoa and dark fruit.
This is a wine that pairs beautifully with important red meats and game, but it also shines on its own — perfect for those quiet, contemplative evenings.

Some wines hit you straight. Falerno del Massico “Seduzione” is one of them.
There’s something magical about this bottle. Maybe it’s the 70-year-old Primitivo vines that whisper stories of resilience. Maybe it’s the way it wraps you in flavours of plum, cherry jam, and velvety cocoa without ever overwhelming your palate.
Or maybe, it’s because behind this wine, there’s Angelo. A man who puts his soul into every bottle. Unique, kind, and passionate, he’s the reason Seduzione is more than just a name.
We’re lucky to know him, and even luckier to share this wine with you.

Fattoria Pagano

The journey began in 2001, when Antonio Pagano, together with his son Angelo, pursued a dream: to introduce the world to Falerno del Massico. This wine descends from Falernian Wine, the legendary Roman red wine, once considered the finest of antiquity.

Fattoria Pagano is dedicated to preserving this millennia-old tradition, producing wines that embody the history and excellence of the region.
Their philosophy is simple: bring wine as close as possible to nature. This commitment translates into sustainable viticulture, respecting the soil, microclimate, and biodiversity. The result? Wines that truly express the vineyard’s essence.
For them, harvest time is a celebration—a moment of joy and tradition, deeply rooted in Campania’s culture.

Falerno del Massico

Falerno del Massico is one of Campania’s most historic wines. Its origins trace back to ancient Roman times, when it was already considered a wine of prestige.
Produced in southern Italy, it blends native grapes such as Aglianico, Piedirosso, and Primitivo. Each variety brings something special: depth, spice, and softness.
In the glass, Falerno del Massico shows a deep ruby red colour. On the nose, it offers intense aromas of blackberries and plums, layered with earthy and spicy notes. On the palate, it’s full-bodied and smooth, with well-integrated tannins and a long, elegant finish.
Thanks to its structure and richness, this wine pairs beautifully with bold flavours. Think roasted meats, aged cheeses, or game. It also has excellent aging potential — time brings out even more complexity and harmony.

Antonio and Angelo Pagano in the vineyard, continuing the legacy of Fattoria Pagano.
