Franciacorta DOCG “Teatro alla Scala” Brut – Bellavista
£46.80
Dedicated to the legendary temple of Opera, this cuvée represents the finest expression of the vintage, the style, and the philosophy of Bellavista.
Made primarily from Chardonnay, with a touch of Pinot Noir, the grapes are sourced through a meticulous selection of the estate’s finest vineyards.
This Franciacorta is perfectly balanced, able to both reflect and elevate the unique character of each vintage. It impresses with remarkable intensity and complexity.
Its colour is a deep straw yellow, with an exceptionally fine and persistent perlage — a prelude to aromas that embody the very essence of Bellavista’s style. Generous and elegant floral notes of hawthorn lead the way, followed by unexpected balsamic hints of bay leaf, candied citrus, and delicate pastry. On the palate, it is full, structured, creamy, and deep. The finish is magnificent in its purity and length.

Bellavista Teatro alla Scala Franciacorta, why we love it and why you'll love it too!
Bellavista Teatro alla Scala Franciacorta is a standing ovation in a bottle.
This cuvée is dedicated to Milan’s legendary Teatro alla Scala — and the opera begins the moment you pop the cork. It’s the result of a bold vineyard selection and months of patient ageing.
The bubbles are delicate but persistent, like applause at the end of a perfect aria. You’ll smell white flowers, candied citrus, bay leaf, and a hint of buttery pastry — just enough to make you smile before you even take a sip.
And when you do? It’s rich and creamy, yet full of freshness. Deep, but never heavy. Elegant, with real character. The kind of wine that knows how to make an entrance… and leave a lasting impression.
Perfect for turning any moment into something truly memorable.
Bellavista
Bellavista is a living, evolving creation. It is shaped each day by the deep and constant dialogue between humans and nature. Every gesture and every bottle expresses a clear identity: the soul of a unique place, embraced with passion.
At the heart of Bellavista lies love for the land and a strong family spirit. The journey began with childhood memories—those carefree summers spent in the vineyards of Vittorio Moretti’s maternal grandparents. From that memory, a dream took shape: to become a winemaker. Bellavista was born from that dream, nestled in the heart of Franciacorta, between Lake Iseo and the Lombard Prealps.
Today, Bellavista prepares its vineyards to face change with resilience. It does so to bring out their full potential, even in shifting conditions. Because at Bellavista, cultivating beauty means living every day with harmony, clarity, and deep respect.
Franciacorta
If there’s a wine gem still waiting for the spotlight, it’s Franciacorta. This world-class Metodo Classico sparkler has all the pedigree and elegance of Champagne, yet it remains a well-kept secret outside Italy.
Made with the traditional method, Franciacorta undergoes its second fermentation in the bottle — just like Champagne. However, unlike Prosecco, which uses the tank method, Franciacorta offers complexity, finesse, and a distinct sense of place.
Located in Lombardy, near the city of Brescia, the region spans just over 2,000 hectares. Since gaining DOCG status in 1995, Franciacorta has become a rising star among critics and wine lovers alike. Many even call it “Italy’s answer to Champagne.”
The permitted grape varieties include Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Blanc. These noble grapes, paired with an increasing focus on organic farming, low or no dosage, and bold experimentation, have led to terroir-driven wines full of character.
With over 115 wineries and a winemaking history that dates back to the Middle Ages, Franciacorta is both deeply rooted and constantly evolving.
It’s time more people discovered what Italy already knows: Franciacorta is sparkling wine at its finest.
