Established in 2000, the family initially considered selling their ancestral vineyards but had a change of heart. They decided to invest in the land and embrace their connection to the Vulture region.
With a clear vision, they focused on crafting a singular wine label: “TITOLO.” This wine was envisioned as a premier offering, representing the exceptional qualities of Aglianico and the distinct terroir of Vulture. Situated in the mountainous inland area at an elevation of 600 meters, the vineyards benefit from volcanic soil, rich in minerals. These unique characteristics lend their influence to the wine’s aromas and flavours.
Guided by their passion, Salvatore Fucci and his daughter Elena diligently nurture the remarkable and unparalleled characteristics of the wine. Together, they work harmoniously with the renowned Aglianico del Vulture grape, harmonising tradition and innovation.

Aglianico del Vulture

Aglianico del Vulture is a renowned red wine from the Basilicata region in southern Italy. It’s produced from the Aglianico grape variety, which thrives in the volcanic soils surrounding Mount Vulture.
The wine is characterised by its deep ruby color, intense flavours, and robust structure. It often exhibits complex aromas of dark fruits such as black cherry, blackberry, and plum, along with notes of spices, tobacco, and earthy undertones.
Due to the high elevation and cooler climate of the Vulture region, the Aglianico grapes ripen slowly, allowing for optimal flavour development and the retention of natural acidity. The resulting wines typically have bold tannins, good acidity, and excellent aging potential.
Aglianico del Vulture is often compared to other prestigious Italian wines, such as Barolo and Brunello di Montalcino, due to its remarkable quality and aging potential. It pairs well with hearty dishes like roasted meats, game, and aged cheeses. This wine has gained recognition both within Italy and internationally, earning a reputation as one of the finest expressions of the Aglianico grape.
