£26.50
Brilliant ruby red with vibrant violet highlights, this wine immediately draws you in with its rich colour and character. On the nose, it reveals an intense and complex bouquet where ripe cherry, plum, and wild strawberry take centre stage, beautifully layered with secondary notes of black pepper, cinnamon, clove, tobacco, carob, and a touch of rosemary.
On the palate, it’s full-bodied and confidently structured, with well-integrated tannins and a long, satisfying finish. There’s both power and elegance here — a wine that speaks of its land with authenticity and style.

Aglianico del Sannio DOC 2018, Why we love it and why you’ll love it too!
Known as the “Nebbiolo of the South” and believed to be one of Italy’s oldest grape varieties, Aglianico stands proudly alongside Sangiovese and Nebbiolo. It’s widely regarded as one of the world’s great red grapes. This nickname only scratches the surface, yet it hints at the variety’s ability to express finesse and pedigree across a range of unique vineyard sites.
Some of the most exciting examples come from Puglia, Campania, and Basilicata. Aglianico del Sannio, in particular, often shows its best after a few years of ageing. Still, many current releases are already wonderfully accessible while maintaining the structure and depth to age gracefully.
This wine is no exception. It’s the kind of red that invites slow conversation, long dinners, and a second glass. Full-bodied and expressive, it unfolds with every sip and lingers long after the last drop. You’ll want to remember the name, because you’ll be hearing a lot more about this winery.
Rossovermiglio
A family story made of people, ideas, and deep passion.
Rossovermiglio is rooted in a centuries-old tradition of winemaking in Paduli, in the heart of Samnite territory in Campania. As early as the 1800s, the Verlingieri family cultivated red grapes and produced quality wines, which they sold directly from their cellar in the historic centre of Paduli.
The winery has been passed down from father to son for generations. Since 1988, Piero Verlingieri has taken the lead. In 1992, he began replanting the vineyards, focusing more on white varieties while still honouring the family’s red wine legacy. The Rossovermiglio label stands as a symbol of that rich family history.
Today, Piero and his wife Maria Teresa Verlingieri are the true custodians of this winemaking tradition. For them, producing quality wine means following a strict discipline in both the vineyard and the cellar. They work with full respect for local customs and the identity of the territory.
Rossovermiglio produces only wines made from native Campanian grape varieties. This is a deliberate choice — one that enhances the character and distinctiveness of some of Italy’s most remarkable vines.
