The winery San Silvestro is located in Novello, in the heart of Barolo district. Here, Paolo and Guido Sartirano rule the business with wisdom and respect for the tradition and for the history of this company. They represent the fourth generation and want to be respectful towards the work their family did to be where they are today.
Tradition, innovation and passion; each glass embodies these three principles to return wines that reflect the uniqueness of this great area.

Moscato d’Asti

Moscato d’Asti is a sweet, lightly sparkling, low-alcohol wine from Piedmont, northwestern Italy. As implied by its name, the wine is made from Moscato grapes grown in vineyards near the town of Asti and falls under Italy’s highest category of production: DOCG. Classic Moscato d’Asti wine is remarkably aromatic, characterized by floral aromas with notes of peach, apricot and fresh grape juice.
Although it could hardly be more different from Piedmont’s other iconic red wine Barolo, it is also one of Italy’s most famous and most popular wines.
